In Geography we have been studying plate tectonics and the forces that create landforms. Volcanoes are one of the most exciting landforms and the students were happy to build model volcanoes, using different materials and incredible creativity. We let them erupt in the school courtyard, using baking soda and vinegar reactions to make the "lava" flow. Luckily no one was harmed in our volcanic eruptions. Prof Chase
